Sheltered workshops
There are four sites around Greenville County. At each site, consumers receive adult development, pre-vocational, and vocational training in a variety of settings. Adult development aims at developing, maintaining, and increasing the consumer’s performance in daily living skills, physical coordination and dexterity, cognitive skills, social relationships, and communication skills. Pre-vocational and vocational skills are taught while consumers receive training incentive wages for work performed.
Enclaves / Mobile Work Crews
This includes work performed outside the workshop in various plants and businesses across the county.
Supported Employment
Supported employment offers job readiness assessment and training, job search, and on-the-job support to consumers who qualify.
The HASCI Center
A resource and drop-in center for HASCI consumers who participate
in activities such as computer lab, work trial training, support groups,
and individual and group training in activities that promote community
living skills, independence, social skills and good health practices.
The Center also provides Rehabilitation Supports, Service Coordination,
and Supported Employment.
